Crepes Suzette Recipe for Your American Griddle

Thermodyne

There is a simple remedy for anyone desiring an elegant breakfast, and that is the crepe suzette. It resembles a thin pancake, and you can wrap it around whatever you like in your breakfast. Here is how you make them:

Crepes Suzette Ingredients:

3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup of milk

Dash of salt

1/2 tsp of sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp melted butter

1/3 cup cold water

Directions:

Whisk together eggs, flour, milk, salt, and sugar. Add the water, oil, and melted butter once the first mixture is smooth and thick. Butter your griddle and pour out the mixture 2 tablespoons at a time until you have 6 6-inch crepes. Cook these on medium-high heat until they start to curl up at the edges and then flip them over to cook for 10 seconds more. Place them onto a plate. Once you have your crepes, you can put fillings in the middle of the crepes and roll them up like a burrito.

Now you will need things to spread onto your crepes. Some people go for the classic orange butter or lemon curd. These are fine but don't feel limited by them. You can use hazelnut spread, strawberry jam, cottage cheese, or slices of fruit provided they are cut thin enough. You are free to try them with butter alone, too.

The most important part of this process is to have the right griddle. If you are looking for a griddle that is guaranteed to give your food the right texture and color, while reducing cook times, you should try the Steam Shell Griddle from American Griddles. Our device is designed to recover temperature instantly and to provide an even cooking surface. This ensures that your crepes cook evenly and quickly. The steam heat lid also enables faster cooking.
