Cook, Hold, and Serve in One Footprint
Thermodyne steam tables combine electrically heated steam well serving above with a Precision Temperature Technology holding cabinet below, in the same footprint most operators already use for a standard steam table. Product can be cooked, held, or rethermalized directly at the serving position, and the holding cabinet base carries EPA 202 certification, so no exhaust hood is required for that portion of the unit.
Most steam tables leave the space below the serving surface as dead space. Thermodyne puts that footprint to work, so operators get active cooking, holding, and rethermalizing capability built into the space they were already using.
Because the holding cabinet is integrated into the base of the steam table, product can be cooked, held, or rethermalized directly at the serving position, reducing labor movement during service and keeping product close to the point of use.
The Precision Temperature Technology holding cabinet component of each steam table model carries EPA 202 certification, confirming that no exhaust hood is required for the integrated unit.

A heat-transfer fluid circulates through each shelf in the holding cabinet base, delivering the same conduction-based heat as standalone Thermodyne holding units, built directly into the base of the steam table.
We're glad to demo any steam table model at our test kitchen or at your facility, so you can see integrated cook, hold, and serve capability firsthand before you commit.
Our steam tables are built to put unused footprint to work rather than leave it empty. Here is what sets our line apart from a standard steam table.

The same conduction-based Precision Temperature Technology that powers our standalone holding cabinets is built into the base of every steam table. Frequent access to the holding cabinet below does not disturb temperature in the steam wells above or degrade product in the cabinet during active service.
Every model in the steam table line is available in both wet-well and dry-well configurations, so operators can match the serving setup to their specific product mix without requiring separate units for each application.
Thermodyne backs every steam table with a 100% money-back guarantee. If our equipment does not improve your serving line performance, we'll take it back, no questions asked. Contact our team for full guarantee details.
Thermodyne's Quick Ship program makes select steam table models available for 48-hour shipment, reducing downtime for urgent replacement needs while a permanent procurement process moves forward.
Integrated holding capability keeps product ready at the point of service through long, continuous serving windows common in education and corporate dining.
Wet and dry well configurations flex to match menu mix, while the holding cabinet base keeps backup product ready without a second piece of equipment on demanding patient meal schedules.
Rethermalizing and holding directly at the serving position reduces trips back to the kitchen, cutting labor movement during service for buffet and catered events.
