Maintenance
DAILY PROCEDURES:
- Inspect pans, make sure bottom surface of pans are clean and free of any debris.
- Make sure “ADD FLUID” light is NOT on (if “ADD FLUID” light is on; follow instructions in Installation / Operation Manual; never overfill, stop adding fluid when the “ADD FLUID” light turns off).
- Listen for any unusual noises.
WEEKLY PROCEDURES:
- Clean shelves thoroughly (see Installation & Operation Manual for instructions).
- Clean debris from all louvers on power head (sides and rear).
- Make sure temperature of shelves are reading within a few degrees of the set point temperature on the controller.
MONTHLY PROCEDURES:
- (24-Hour Stores) Shut unit down for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Remove back panel, side panels, and clean.
- Check fluid level in the reservoir tank.
- Check to ensure that no leaks are present in power head.
ANNUAL PROCEDURES: (To be performed by a Qualified Service Technician)
- Shut unit down, unplug unit, and inspect power cord for exposed wires.
- Change Heat Transfer Fluid (see Installation & Operation Manual for instructions). Safety first… make sure unit is at room temperature before performing this task as unit may be under pressure.
- Inspect for leaks at all fluid connections (including in power head).
- Remove power head lid and inspect all wire connections, replace any discolored or burnt connectors or wires.
- Check ring terminals on probes, tighten if necessary.
- Clean fan blades and louvers.
- Check pump to ensure no cracks / leaks are present.
