Electric Food Warmers Help C-Stores and More Expand Grab-and-Go Pizza Sales

Have you been keeping track of pizza and convenience store trend predictions? If so, there’s a good chance you’ve already noticed the rise in demand for Neapolitan pizza, assorted crust options, grab-and-go pies, individual slices and customized toppings. By all industry experts’ accounts, demand for those items will continue throughout 2015 and well into 2016. Now the big question is, “What is your convenience store, fast-casual restaurant, take-out joint or gas station going to do about it?” If you’re still wrestling with that business decision, may we suggest taking a look at our pizza holding units? There are three different ones in our electric food warmers inventory that businesses could utilize to increase their pizza sales.

The three electric food warmers that would be perfect for making inroads in the grab-and-go pizza market are the 6000P, 3000P and the 250PNDT. The first pizza holding unit is perfect for serious players and entrepreneurs with aspirations of becoming the next market leaders. It’s a single-phase warmer that requires a 240-volt line and receptacle that can hold a NEMA 6-50P plug. It has 10 shelves and enough space to hold anywhere from 40 to 76 pizza boxes at one time.

The 3000P has the same voltage requirements and shelving space as the 6000P, but it needs an outlet that can accommodate a NEMA 6-30P plug. Plus, its dimensions are very different from the other floor units. It’s designed to take up less space and therefore can only hold 20 to 38 grab-and-go boxes at a time. Despite still needing 240-volts, the 250PNDT unit is even smaller that the first two electric food warmers that we mentioned. It requires an outlet for a NEMA L14-30 plug and boasts 9 shelves, each capable of holding one pizza.
